We are building our team for AfroTech! AFROTECH™ Conference is the largest Black tech conference of the year! A Global community of 20,000+ Black tech innovators during a series of digital and in-person events filled with dynamic programming on emerging trends, networking opportunities with industry leaders and conversations.
AFROTECH™ Conference 2023 will take place Wednesday, November 1st through Sunday, November 5th at the Austin Convention Center and Hilton Austin and we need our ROCK STAR TEAM!
Our company is seeking several Event Coordinators to join our FIERCE team! The right candidates will be highly organized individuals with excellent time management skills who enjoy being involved in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our team, supporting our event staff, including coordination of all events and presentations, ensuring that all events are executed flawlessly. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, and we're looking for someone with a passion for their work and an innovative spirit who can always bring fresh ideas to the table.
Joining the Fierce Staffing Team means that you are able to pick-up shifts for events when it works for your schedule. The more you work the more opportunity, rewards and incentives are available to you, such as traveling to some amazing events with our national team!

Responsibilities:
- Follow provided processes and policies
- Support the Event leads as needed
- Perform Attendee Registrations or Check-in
- Provide Customer Service as needed
- Work with a fun diverse team
- Show up on time dressed professionally
- Work the entire event week for all assigned shifts.
